          <h2>[FP2185] - IT TAKES TWO TO TANGO: A NEGLECTED CASE OF SENILE CATARACT PRESENTING WITH PHACOMORPHIC GLAUCOMA. </h2>
          <p>A 75-year-old female presented to our OPD with complaints of sudden deterioration of vision associated with severe pain, redness, intolerance to bright light and watering of her right eye for the past 10 days. 
Her presenting visual acuity was hand movement in right eye [RE] and 6/24 in left eye [LE]. The intraocular pressure [IOP] was recorded as 44 & 22 mmHg in RE & LE respectively on Applanation Tonometry. The slit lamp examination [SLE] of RE revealed stromal edema in cornea, a shallow anterior chamber [AC] {Van Herick grade I}, a mid-dilated and fixed pupil along with presence of dense white cataract.  Gonioscopy suggested angle closure and fundus details could not be visualised. A diagnosis of mature senile cataract with angle closure with Phacomorphic glaucoma was made and a supero-temporal small incision cataract surgery under mannitol cover was performed in right eye.
After a week of this procedure the patient had a visual acuity of 6/60 and an IOP of 20 mmHg.</p>
