          <h2>[FP2206] - ATYPICAL PRESENTATION OF OCULAR TOXOPLASMOSIS </h2>
          <p>Introduction- Toxoplasma retinochoroiditis : One of the most common identifiable cause of posterior uveitis :2-20% (acquired),80% (congenital ).  Zoonotic infection, Cats - definitive host.Typical cases : Retinochoroiditis lesion. Diagnosis: CLINICAL(vitritis with vitreous membrane)focal retinochoroiditis (adjacent scar- recurrence). Atypical presentation – delayed diagnosis and treatment.Aim- To describe an atypical presentation of Toxoplasma retinochoroiditis with disc involvement .Discussion and conclusion- Prevalence of  optic nerve involvement in Ocular  Toxoplasmosis:- 5.03% Clinician’s concern: Diagnosis of ONH toxoplasmosis: White inflammatory masses on the disc, Prominent vitreous inflammation, Positive Toxoplasma Serologies .Disc involvement in Ocular Toxoplasmosis : Contiguousness – Juxtapapillary retinochoroiditis.Direct involvement –anterior neuritis/papillitis , Neuroretinitis.Distant lesion: located far from the optic nerve,Mixed lesion</p>
