          <h2>[FP2348] - PSEUDOPHAKIC BULLOUS KERATOPATHY TREATED WITH PENETRATING KERATOPLASTY </h2>
          <p>Purpose 
The purpose of this study is to present a case report on the visual outcome after penetrating keratoplasty with pseudophakic bullous keratopathy with descemet’s membrane detachment.
Method 
A sixty-six years old female presented with diminution of vision in left eye since five years, which was gradual onset and progressive. She had been operated for both eye cataract surgery five years back. Anterior segment of left eye showed descemet’s membrane detachment 
Results 
Following a penetrating keratoplasty in this patient, her visual outcome started improving. Graft clarity was 4+ with healthy graft host junction. Best corrected visual acuity was improved to 6/12 in a month.


Conclusion 
A penetrating keratoplasty has an important role and provides a good visual outcome in the management of pseudophakic bullous keratopathy with longstanding descemet’s membrane detachment.</p>
