<h2>[FP2459] - SECONDARY OPEN ANGLE GLAUCOMA WITH GLOBE ENLARGEMENT & PROPTOSIS DUE TO CAVERNOUS SINUS THROMBOSIS </h2>
<p>A 9 years old female presented with the chief complaint of diminution of vision and protrusion of left eye for 3 years. On examination, her visual acuity was 6/6 in right eye and hand movement & perception of light positive in L/E. There were dilated episcleral vessels, semi dilated pupil, axial proptosis in L/E of 26 mm. IOP was 32 mmHg in L/E. On fundoscopy, there was optic disc cupping (CDR - 0.9) in L/E. Angle was open on gonioscopy. MRI brain with orbit with cerebral angiography showed partial thrombosis of left cavernous sinus and left superior ophthalmic vein. A clinical diagnosis of Secondary Open Angle Glaucoma with Globe Enlargement with Proptosis due to Cavernous Sinus Thrombosis was made. Patient was started Inj. Heparin until her coagulation profile was normal, followed by Trabeculectomy. Post-operatively, anterior chamber was well formed, IOP was maintained in the range of 14-16 mmHg. At 3 weeks, there was a well-functioning bleb and proptosis reduced to 23mm.</p>
